2020 Hurricane Season
The National Meteorological Service of the Conagua forecasts the development of between 30 and 37 named systems over the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans this year. Most of the hurricanes develop trajectories far from the Mexican coasts; however, every year an average of 4 or 5 cyclonic systems impact the country. For this year, 5 to 6 are forecast to reach the Mexican coasts.
What is a Hurricane?

- They rotate counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere.
- They converge in a center called the eye, where there are no bad weather conditions.
