This third edition brings together leaders from the insurance, academic and business sectors to present some of the main market trends as well as relevant and topical issues in risk management and employee benefits.
We will discuss the mitigation of current social and political risks in Mexico and Latin America as well as those risks that impact the supply chain.

Eduardo Silva, General Director of Grupo Nacional Provincial, will speak about the challenge of integrating new models and ways of consolidating the human talent strategy. In addition, we will address issues of leadership in organisations and the containment of health costs.

The event is aimed at finance and human resources managers, as well as all those involved in risk management and employee benefits.

Trust in times of conflict: Social and Political Risks 

Abstract: During this session our speakers will address the context of the social and political environment in Mexico and Latin America, and explain how conflicts arising from this environment can affect companies regardless of where the events occur. They will also discuss ways to mitigate social and political risks, provide information to distinguish the different types of coverage offered by the insurance market, and provide recommendations for business managers to comprehensively insure against such risks.

- Hernan Javier Cantillo Perdomo - Risk Engineer Manager for LATAM in Chubb

Ana Maria is a Civil Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes Colombia with an emphasis in planning. She has 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry where she has held management positions in renowned reinsurance brokers focusing on developing the terrorism line of business in Latin America. He recently assumed the position of Regional Vice President for the terrorism line of business at Chubb.

Hernan is a retired Officer of the Colombian Navy, Industrial Engineer, Specialist in Port Management, Diploma in Risk Management and Marine surveyor. As an officer in the Colombian Navy I sailed on warships and served as an officer at the ARC Bolivar Naval Base in Cartagena, worked at Delima Marsh Colombia, Chubb de Colombia, Chubb Argentina, and now at Chubb Miami. 25 years in Chubb. Lecturer in the Risk Management course of the Insurance specialization at the University of El Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina, specialist in transport risks and maritime and port liability.

Abstract:

Human talent management is the factor that transforms organisations and drives them to achieve their goals. In a historic moment, in which the only certainty is the need for change, Eduardo Silva will show us how to integrate new models and ways of consolidating the strategy of human talent, in order to have an impact on better professionals, better people and, in turn, better companies.

Lic. Eduardo Silva Pylypciow - General Director of GNP


Eduardo holds a degree in Business Administration from the UNAM, a Master's degree in Administration from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, as well as a Master's degree in Pension Fund Management from the Universidad de Alcalá. He began his career in the financial sector at GNP 45 years ago. In 1996 he created Afore Profuturo from scratch, of which he was General Manager for 20 years. He later became Corporate Director at BAL Group. He was President of AMAFORE in 2000-2001 and 2008-2009. In 2019, Eduardo returned to GNP as General Director, from where he promotes the philosophy of ensuring the welfare of Mexican society.

Marianela Adriaenses - Director of Academic Projects at the School of Business in the Monterrey Region of the Tecnológico de Monterrey

Director of Academic Projects at the School of Business in the Monterrey Region of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. She was Regional Director of the Department of Management and Leadership at ITESM. PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of DEUSTO, Spain. Master in Administration, EGADE. Degree in Communication Sciences, ITESM. She teaches courses, diplomas and consultancy in subjects related to teamwork, leadership, administration, human resources, among others.

She is an Honors and FIT Professor and teaches Master's classes in the School of Humanities and Education. She is a Coach for the Best Mexican Companies (MEM). She has collaborated in projects with Kidzania, Bomberos, Cemex and Seven Eleven. Certified in Innovation Management by the Global Innovation Institute, she has published several articles related to her areas of expertise and is co-author of the books: Administracion de los negocios, en un mundo cambiante and another on Organizational learning, both from the publishing house, McGraw Hill.

He has dedicated the last 10 years of his professional life to the health sector, working in different areas such as finance, M&A, design of health insurance products, structuring of public-private partnerships, management of companies in the health sector, health technologies, etc.

Based since June 2019 in Mexico where she has served initially as Managing Director of Grupo Centauro and now as Executive Director of AXA Keralty.
